  1. Chicken should be cut into 1-inch chunks. Prepare the rice and leave it aside.
  2. Toss in the chopped onions and cook until translucent. Continue to sauté while adding slit green chilies and chicken cubes as needed.
  3. Add half of the fried brown onions and mix well. Place the boiling rice on top of that.
  4. Cook for around 10 minutes on a low heat, covered. Serve immediately after garnishing with the egg pieces
