Sharavan Ghevdyachi Bhaji

 

Shravan Ghevada is looks like french beans. It’s very tasty and delicious vegetable. Easy to prepare and less time consuming vegetable. If you like you can use onion in this recipe. I am not using it as I m preparing it for shravan fasting nevedya.

Let’s get started with Sharavan Ghevadyachi Bhaji:

Preparation Time: 5 Minutes

Cooking Time: 10 Minutes

Total Time: 15 Minutes

Serves for 2.

Ingredients:

1) 250 gram Shravan ghevada

2) 2 tsp Oil

3) 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds

4) Pinch of hing

5) 2 tsp goda masala

6) 1 tsp red chilly powder

7) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

8) Slat to taste

9) Chopped coriander leaves

10) Grated fresh coconut

Method:

 

Trim off ends from both the sides of ghevada wash and cut it.

Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds and wait till crackle.

Add pinch of asafoetida (Hing) and saute it.

Add chopped ghevada and saute it.

Add goda masala, red chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.

Saute it add little water, keep a lid and lower the flame, let it cook for 5 minutes.

Once it done add grated fresh coconut and coriander leaves

 Serve hot with chapati or plain dal rice.
