Radish Dal | Mulyache Varan

Radish Dal in Marathi

Serves for 2.


1) 1 small size Radish

2) 1/2 cup toovar dal

3) Ginger garlic paste

4) Coriander leaves

5) 2 tsp Malvani Masala 

6) Turmeric powder

7) 2-3 Kokam

8) Salt


For Tempering:

1) 1/2 tsp mustard seeds

2) 1/2 tsp cumin seeds

3) pinch of Hing

4) Curry Leaves


Pressure cook  toovar dal along with radish pieces for 3 whistles.

Mash toovar dal and keep aside.

Heat a oil in a pan add mustard seeds once it crackle add cumin seeds,hing, curry leaves, ginger paste.

Then add the cooked dal, salt, Malvani Masala and Kokam  mix well and bring everything to boil.

Add chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with Rice.
