Spice from the goda masala, Sweet from the jaggery, Sour from the tamarind, texture from the coconut and crunch from the peanuts in this Panchamrut Chatni is sure to give you a flavorful burst with every bite. This Panchamrut Chutney is a must have in Maharashtrian weddings. This sweet sour chutney is a good side dish to your rice based dishes & chapatis. This Panchamrut Chatni, if stored in an airtight container, can be stored upto 15 days.

Serves for 2.
1) 2 tbsp. Oil
2) 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
3) 10 Curry leaves
4) Pinch of asafoetida
5) 2 green chillies
6) 1 cup peeled peanuts
7) 2 tbsp. dry coconut
8) 2 tbsp. Tamarind Pulp
9) 3 tbsp. jaggery
10) Salt to taste
11) 2 tbsp. groundnut powder
12) 1 tbsp. sesame seeds powder
13) 1 cup water
14) 1 tbsp. malvani masala
Heat oil for tempering, add mustard seeds, asafoetida, green chillies and sauté for few minutes.
Add turmeric powder, peanuts, chopped dry coconut and sauté.
Add Tamarind pulp, jaggery, water, salt and mix well.
Add groundnut powder, sesame seeds powder, malvani masala and mix it.
Serve as a side dish.
