Serves for 2
Ingredients:
1) 2 cup Sprouted Moong and Matki
2) 2 Big Sized Onion
3) 1 Tomato
4) 3-4 tsp Malvani Masala
5) 1-2 tsp Red chilly powder
6) 1/2 cup Oil
7) 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
8) Salt as per taste
Ingredients for Tempering:
1) 1 tsp mustard seeds
2) 1 tsp cumin seeds
3) Pinch of Hing
4) 4-5 Curry leaves
Other Ingredients:
1) 1 cup chopped Onin
2) Chopped coriander
3) Farsan
4) Pav
How to Make Misal pav-Full procedure
Procedure:
Soak a moong and matki in water for 6-7 hours
Drain all the water.
Put clean moong and mataki in a cotton cloth, tie the cloth tightly and let it sprout.
It will take another 8 hours.
In a heated pan add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing and curry leaves.
Once it done add chopped onion and saute till it translated.
Add ginger garlic paste, tomato puree, malvani masala, red chilly powder and salt.
Misal Pav recipe-soaked moong,matki, Misal cooked in pan
Saute for 2-3 minutes and add spourts and sufficient water.
Let it cook for another 15 minutes.
Remove from flame.
How to serve:
Place misal on a plate, top with 1/4 cup of farsan and chopped onion, coriander leaves and lemon juice.
Serve with pavs.
