Serves for 3.

 

Ingredients:

1) 2 cup Lal Math Bhaji

2) 1 cup Tuvar Dal

3) 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

4) Pinch of hing

5) 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds

6) 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds

7) 1 tsp Red chilly powder

8) 1 onion

9) 4-5 Curry leaves

10) Oil

11) 2-3 Garlic Cloves

 

Method:

Wash and boil Tuvar Dal upto 2-3 whistles.

Take lal math bhaji (red amarnath) pluck the leaves from the stems.

Wash vegetable and chop them.

Now heat oil in kadai, add mustard seeds. Once they crackle, add cumin seeds, curry leaves, chopped garlic and sauté them.

Add sliced onion and sauté till translucent.

Add Chopped vegetable, red chilly powder and salt.

Let it cook for 5 minutes.

Add boiled dal to the cooked lal math bhaji and mix well.

Cover and let it cook for 10 minutes on low flame.

Serve with rice or chapati.
