Ingredients for Amti

Ingredients to prepared Masala:

 

1) 4-5 Red chillies

2) 2-3 tsp coriader

3) 4-5 Garlic Cloves

4) 1 cup grated fresh Coconut

5) 1/2 Onion

6) Turmeric powder

7) Oil

8) Kokam 2-3

9) Salt

Ingredient to prepared Balls: 

1) 1 chopped onion

2) Red chilli and coriander paste

3) 1 cup Besan

4) Salt to taste

Golyachi amti(Maharashtrian besan Kofta Curry) recipe Method

Method:

Soak red chili and dry coriander for 1/2 an hour.

Mix chillies, coriander, garlic cloves and make paste of it.

Keep little paste aside for balls and add little water to the remaining paste and keep aside.

Know heat oil for tempering add chopped onion and saute for a minutes and add paste to it.

Bring it to boil.

How to Prepare Balls for Maharashtrian Besan Kofta Recipe?

For making balls:

Take chopped onion, besan, above chili paste, turmeric powder, salt, little water and combine well make thick batter for balls.

Make a paste of grated fresh coconut, onion, turmeric and keep aside.

Once water boil make balls drop it into a curry.

Keep a distance in each ball while dropping the balls.

Once the balls boil it will come up then add coconut paste, salt and kokam and let it cook for another 10 minutes.

Serve hot with rice.
