Preparation Time: 10 Minutes

Cooking Time: 20 Minutes

Total Time: 30 Minutes

Serves for 4.

 

Ingredient:

 

1) 1 cup wheat flour

2) 3/4 cup semolina

3) 1/2 cup ghee

4) 1 cup milk

5) 1 cup jaggery

6) Cardamom Powder

7) Chopped cashew nuts

8) Slices of almonds

9) 4-5 Strands of saffron

 

Method:

 

Heat ghee in a pan, add wheat flour, semolina and roast on a medium flame.

Once it changes colour, add milk and turn the flame on high.

Add saffron, cashew nuts and almond slices.

Keep some dry fruits for garnishing.

Add cardamom powder and mix it.

Add grated jaggery and sauté till jaggery melts. Mix well.

Lower the flame, keep a lid and let it cook for another 10 minutes.

Garnish with dry fruits & serve warm.
