Serves for 2.
1) 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
2) 1 and ½ cup grated bottle gourd
3) 1 tsp cumin seeds
4) 1 tsp sesame seeds
5) Turmeric powder
6) Salt as per taste
7) 4 green Chilies
8) Coriander leaves
9) 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
10) 1 tsp oil
11) ½ cup Butter
Mix turmeric powder, salt, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, sesame seeds, ginger garlic paste, grated bottle gourd in wheat flour.
Mix this mixture and knead to semi-soft dough.
No need to add water as bottle gourd leaves its water it becomes very soft and sticky.
Divide the dough into a equal portion and roll out each portion into circle, using a little wheat flour for rolling.
Heat the tava on medium heat. Once hot put the rolled thalipeeth on it.
Wait for few seconds and flip it and cook from both side.
Then add little oil or butter as per your choice and flit it.
Once brown spots appear on both the sides remove it from the pan and keep it warm to serve.
Repeat the same process for all the thalipeeth.
Serve hot with pickle.
