Dhapate can be called as ‘cousin’ of thalipeeth.
It is made from jowar flour.
I learnt to make dhapate from my mom.
Initially I used to make dhapate by ‘thappne’ method – a very tiresome one.
The ‘thappne’ method was ,initially, difficult to learn but now I have mastered that skill.
