Corn Flour Thalipeeth
Corn Flour Thalipeeth is very famous Maharashtrian Dish. It’s high in nutrition &served as a breakfast or snack with butter/yogurt or dry garlic chutney. Its also called Makyachya Pithache Thalipeeth in Marathi . Learn how to make Thalipith by following this easy recipe.
Serves for 2.
1) 2 cups Corn flour
2) 1 onion
3) 1 tsp red chilli powder
4) ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
5) Turmeric powder
6) Salt as per taste
7) Coriander Leaves
8) Oil to cook
Take ingredients, corn flour, chopped onion, red chilli, cumin seeds, coriander leaves, salt and turmeric powder and 1 tsp oil.
Start kneading the mixture into stiff dough by adding little warm water at a time.
Keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
Make small balls from dough.
Take a plastic sheet on rolling board. Apply a little oil on sheet.
Place a small ball of dough on sheet and using your plam start flattering the dough into a small circle.
Once done make small hole in the centre using figure.
Heat tawa add little oil, place thalipeeth on tawa.
Drizzle more oil on tawa, cook on medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
Serves hot with yogurt.
