Besan Puriche Ladoo

 

Besan Puriche Ladoo mouth watering and delicious ladoo, it’s taste like Boondi Ladoo. I m preparing it for Ganpati Bappa. You can also try  this for coming festive season. I m sure your family will definitely enjoy these ladoos. It’s very easy to prepare and less time consuming.

So without wasting time let start for preparing Besan Puriche Ladoo:

 

Preparation Time: 15 Minutes.

Cooking Time: 15 Minutes.

Total Time: 30 Minutes.

Serves: 11 Ladoos.

 

Ingredients: 

 

1) 1 & 1/2 cup Besan

2) 1 cup Sugar

3) 1/2 cup water

4) 7-8 Saffron sticks

5) Cardamom Powder

6) 7-8 Raisins

7) Ghee or Oil for deep frying

8) Silver Varakh

 

Method:

 

Take besan (gram flour) in a bowl add 1/2 tsp ghee, little water and knead to a stiff dough.

Make small puris from dough.

Heat ghee or oil, deep fry puris and keep aside.

Puris should be crisp.

On other flame, mix water and sugar in a saucepan. Bring it to boil till it reaches the single string stage.

Check with spoon, the last drop falling should be single string consistency.

Add saffron sticks, cardamom powder and raisins to the syrup. Switch off the flame.

Grind puris to course powder and add it to sugar syrup.

Let it soak for 1/2 an hour.

Take a small portion of this mix and shape it into a ladoo.

Apply the same process for remaining mixture.

Garnish with silver varakh.

Let them set for 2 hours and then serve them or store them in an air tight container.
