How to make Besan Kanda Kachori?
Preparathion Time: 15 Minutes
Cooking Time: 15 Minutes
Serves for 2.
Ingredients for stuffing:
1) 1 Cup Gram Flour
2) 2 Small size Onion
3) Chopped Coriander Leaves
4) Green Chilies
5) Red chilly Powder
6) Fennel Seeds
7) Ginger Garlic Paste
8) Garam Masala Powder
9) Salt as per taste
10) Oil for deep frying
Ingredients for Cover:
1) 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
2) 1 tsp Oil
3) Salt as per taste
4) Water to knead flour
Besan Kanda Kachori – For FIlling
Heat oil in a pan add onion and fry till light golden colour.
Add chopped coriander leaves, green chilies, red chilly powder, fennel seeds, ginger garlic paste, garam masala and salt saute for few minutes.
Add chickpea flour and fry for 2-3 minutes and then add very little water.
Turn off the flame and let it cool completely.
Besan Kanda Kachori – For Cover
Take the flour and salt in a mixing bowl and mix well.
Add hot oil and mix it with spoon.
Make smooth and firm dough by adding water little by little.
Knead it well.
Divide dough into equal size balls.
Roll out each ball and place a spoon of the onion mixture in it.
Bring all the edges together and seal it well.
Flatten very gently into circle.
Continue making the rest of the kachoris and cover them with a damp cloth.
Besan Kanda Kachori – Deep Fried
Heat oil until hot and drop kachori.
Reduce the flame to low.
Turn over in between and fry till they become golden brown and crisp.
Serve hot with fried green chilly.
