Anarsa | How to make Anarse

Anarsa or Anarse is a traditional Maharashtrian sweet recipe made especially during Diwali. Now that Diwali is around the corner, I thought of sharing this delicious mouthwatering recipe with you all. In this recipe, I have also added mashed banana for additional flavor. This rice and jaggery based dish is an absolute delight when fried in ghee. These deep fried Anarse if done properly, can be stored for days. Though it can be cooked within minutes, the preparation takes too long as you have to soak the rice for 3 days.
