Raghavdas Ladoo in Marathi:

Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

Serve 23-25 Ladoo

Ingredients:

 

1) 1/2 cup Grated fresh coconut

2) 1 1/2 cups Fine semolina

3) 1/3 cup melted ghee

4) Sugar 1 1/2 cups

5) Milk 1 tbls

6) Cardamom powder

7) Raisins

 

How to make raghavdas ladoo – Step by Step recipe

Method:

 

Dry roast the grated fresh coconut in a non stick pan on medium low heat for 5-6 minutes.

 

Transfer it to the bowl.

 

Add the ghee to the same pan.

 

 

Add the semolina and stirring continuously till light brown.

 

 

In another pan add sugar and 3/4 cup of water and stir it till the sugar dissolves.

 

 

Add the milk.

 

collect the scum which rises to the surface with a spoon.

 

Cook to make syrup  of  one -string consistency.

 

Add coconut  and mix well.

 

 

Add the semolina and cardamom powder stirring continuously.

 

 

Cover and set aside for 20 minutes.

 

 

Grease your palms with a ghee and shape into ladoo.

 

 

Decorate with raisins.

 

Store in airtight container once it cooled completely.
