Ingredients For Dough:
1) Wheat Flour -1 cup
2) Melted Ghee- 1tsp
3) Suji rava -1/2 tsp
4) Salt as per taste
5) Water as needed
1) Oil to deep fry
2) Flour to dust the dough balls while rolling.
Stir the flour in a bowl.
Add melted ghee and mix well.
Add water little by little and make the dough.
Take care while adding the water the dough should not be sticky, wet or too soft like chapati dough.
It should be smooth and stiff but not hard also.
Knead it well unitill smooth.
Keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
Make small balls from dough.
Dust the balls in flour and make small sized poori.
Roll it out into small circles with medium thickness.
Heat oil to deep fry.
To check the right temperature of oil put a small piece of dough.
It will rise immediately at the same time.
Immediately slides the poori after a few seconds slightly press the poori with slotted ladle and flicker hot oil on top of it.
It will help poori to puff up nicely.
Fry until golden yellow. Drain excess oil.
Repeat the process for the remaining dough.
Serve hot with potato bhaji or shrikhand.
